There are so many ways to let your light shine and I’m a strong believer that by helping to let someone else’s light shine, your light will shine even more.
One way you can do this is by performing random acts of kindness. Did you know that performing random acts of kindness not only helps the recipient, but the giver too!
Studies have shown that people who perform random acts of kindness can benefit in the following ways,
- The release of endorphins makes you naturally feel good
- A feeling of satisfaction for helping someone or doing something good for someone
- Makes you feel more grateful for what you have
- Improve mental and physical health
Today I want to share seven random acts of kindness you can perform this week!
1. Pay for someone’s coffee, lunch, dinner
2. Mail a card to someone telling them what you love about them.
3. Cook dinner for a friend, family member, coworker, neighbor
4. Visit an elderly person you know
5. Let the person who is in line behind you, move in front of you.
6. Leave a snack, cool beverage, or note of thanks for your postal person and/or delivery drivers
7. Ask a coworker if they need help with their work
8. Smile and say, “Hi,” to strangers
Being kind to someone doesn’t cost anything and honestly, it’s easier to be kind!
So which one of these acts will you preform this week?
